Tea
Drinking tea is one of my favourite libations and it has many benefits.
It is:
Rich in Antioxidants: particularly green tea which can help protect the body against damage from free radicals and restore immunity.
Hydration: Although tea does contain caffeine, it is also high in water, making it a hydrating beverage.
Heart Health: Regular consumption of tea has been linked to a lower risk of heart disease and stroke.
Cognitive Health: Some studies suggest that certain types of tea may help improve cognitive function and slow the progression of diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Weight Management: Tea, especially green tea, might aid in weight loss and fat burning.
Digestive Health: Certain types of tea, like ginger and peppermint tea, can aid in digestion and soothe stomach issues.
Improved Mood and Alertness: The caffeine and L-theanine in tea can help improve mood and alertness.
