Pandemic normal
Every morning I wake to the sound of birds tweeting from lively palm trees outside my window and waves crashing on my local Pacific Ocean beach. Nowhere could have been better that to spend time here in this small quiet Mexican town on the Baja. Others have not been so fortunate and for you I continue to send love and prayers.
I decided to use this time to develop the reformer APP idea that has been swishing around in my brain for 10 years. Imagine if you could request a customised workout every day, based on your personal choices and watch it from any device?
Before beginning the daunting task of filtering and shooting over 300 exercises I took the opportunity to review the existing lighterliving Video Library. Despite being much older footage with less than perfect videography, the information is still invaluable and extremely relevant so I decided to take some time to update it and make it easier to search and enjoy. Much thanks to Bastian who embarked on this task with me and without whom I couldn’t have accomplished the following simple changes:
the description of each video lesson has been updated
the search bar can now better help you identify and choose the lesson you want
you can filter the lessons by their duration: 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes
in case you don't know where to begin you can search the "best of" list, favored by you, the members
the lessons are listed in alphabetical order in case you remember the name
most excitedly you can now save your favourite lessons for future viewing
the tiles are still there to welcome you but are ever changing so you won't miss one
you have access to my favourite 1 hour zoom classes, recently recorded during the pandemic
for those of you who want Mat Pilates, Skye's challenging zoom classes are available
lessons that include accessories: the pull-up bar, magic circle, box, pole & ballet bar have been added
meditation videos are available
Oh, and it was Bastian’s idea to add a daily tip on the homepage as additional inspiration.
