HOW DO I LOG IN?

WHY DID I GET LOCKED OUT?

For safety reasons you can get locked because:

  • you tried to log in with the wrong password too many times in a row.
    Solution > Wait for half an hour before trying to log in again. If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it yourself (see the instructions on this page).

    ⚠️ After a failed attempt, the system shows how many more attempts are available before the system locks the account for security reasons.

  • the system detected too many simultaneous logins with your username. As per our Terms & Condition, section “Registration Information”, your username and password cannot be shared with others.
    Solution > Wait for half an hour before trying to log in again. Remember to log out after each session.

  • the system detected too many IP addresses per username.
    Solution > Wait for half an hour before trying to log in again.

  • the system detected suspicious activities from your IP.
    Solution > Wait for half an hour before trying to log in again.


    If after waiting half an hour you are not able to log-in again, please contact customercare, indicating the error message displayed on the login page.

    ⚠️ If you ignore the blocking message and continue to make attempts, the system may interpret it as a cyber attack: for security reasons the account is blocked for even longer.

I LOST MY PASSWORD

1) Go to the Log in page and click on "Lost your password?".

2) Fill in the field with your username or email address you used to register, and click on "Get New Password".

3) You'll receive an email within few minutes with a link to reset the password and log in to your account.
Be sure to check the spam folder.

⚠️ If you don’t receive the reset email, please do not insist on repeating the above procedure: you probably entered the wrong password too many times, triggering the security system and blocking your account for about half an hour (or longer). These two actions, are interpreted by the system as a cyber attack: for security reasons the account could be blocked for even longer.

I WANT TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD

1) Log in to your account

2) Click on "My Account" (top left side of the screen).
This link is also available in the footer of the page.

3) Scrolling down the page, you'll find:
New Password? (please type it twice)”

4) Enter the new password twice.

5) Click on the green button “Save all changes”.

I WANT TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP

1) Log in to your account

2) Click on "My Account" (top left side of the screen).
This link is also available in the footer of the page.

3) Scrolling down the page, you'll find the link 
"CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP".

I WANT TO RESTART MY MEMBERSHIP

1) Log in to your account

2) Click on "My Account" (top left side of the screen).
This link is also available in the footer of the page.

I WANT TO UPGRADE / DOWNGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP
(YEARLY / MONTHLY PLAN)

1) Log in to your account

2) Click on "My Account" (top left side of the screen).

3) Scrolling down the page, you'll find the following links according to your actual plan: 

“UPGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP TO YEARLY PLAN”
“DOWNGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP TO MONTHLY PLAN”

I WANT TO UPDATE MY CREDIT CARD INFO

1) Log in to your account

2) Click on "My Account" (top left side of the screen).
This link is also available in the footer of the page.

3) Scrolling down the page, you'll find the link 
"UPDATE MY CREDIT CARD INFO".

I CAN NO LONGER SEE THE VIDEOS
ONCE I LOG IN

Usually this happens when there isn’t an active membership or when the system fails to complete the payment despite several attempts (in this case the membership gets automatically cancelled and your account demoted). Also be sure to check our Terms of Service.

The next time you enter your account, click on the "Restart your membership" link: a new subscription will start when you successfully insert your credit card. 

VIDEOS PLAY, THEN FREEZE

All the videos are hosted on a dedicated streaming service. Usually this issue with the streaming videos is related to a problem with the internet connection. Please follow these steps:

  • Below each video there is resolution button: please try with a lower resolution.

  • If you connect to a wifi modem, the wifi signal may be full, even if there is no actual internet connection. Please restart the modem.

As for the computer, tablet, smartphone or other device you are using, please follow these steps:

  • log out of your account on the lighterivinglibrary.com website.

  • clear the cache and the temporary files of your browser

  • check if there is any update available for your computer and/or browser.

  • restart your device.

  • log back into your account.

  • the link of the videos that don't play for you

  • the system and browser you are using

  • If you used our site before without streaming problems

  • the email you used to sign up
